E-Waste Management
Included in this service are two parallel processes: the de-manufacturing and the treatment processes.

E-Waste Material Sorting and Dismantling
The first step in the de-manufacturing process is the sorting and separating of electronics waste by size. These materials such as keyboard, computers, answering machines, etc. are then dismantled. The treatment process is used for the processing of combined materials (circuit boards), CRTs (lead and glass), etc.

Electronic Refurbishing
Units and parts not under a data protection agreement, if in good condition, are sent to the refurbishing facilities for repair and reuse. The refurbished units and parts are then sold in the used electronics market.
Metals and Plastics Recovery
A proprietary treatment process is used to recover copper bearing and precious metal bearing material. The technology used in this process is one of the key elements to ER GLOBAL’s business. Unlike other technologies used to recycle e-Waste, this technology allows for approximately 100% of the material to be reused without landfilling, incineration or leaching. Using this process to separate the metal and plastic, approximately 98% of the copper and approximately 99% of the precious metals is recovered.
CRT Tube Recycling
Our CRT tube recycling program is an integral part of our e-Waste management service. We have several recovery options available for CRTs. The highest value option, both from an economic and waste management standpoint, is reuse. Many discarded CRTs are not defective, they may simply have been replaced with newer or better equipment. Some broken TVs and monitors can be repaired and resold; our refurbishing centres assess and repair the equipment. Repairing a small fraction of recovered CRTs can significantly improve the economics of recovery. Even if they cannot be resold, these refurbished materials may be donated for use in schools or other similar settings. The next tier in the hierarchy is recovery of CRT parts and components for reuse. This, too, requires special expertise. Intact CRTs for dismantling and parts are sent for recovery to our dismantling and demanufacturing centres.
E-cycle Program Certificate
A rigorous reception procedure ensures precise identification of e-Waste materials on arrival at any collection centre, immediately after unloading, the materials are weighed and recorded to allow for batch traceability. This tracking service ensures complete processing of all e-Waste to the customer's satisfaction and predetermined levels. This is further guaranteed via the issuance of the Environmental Responsibility Certificate.

Solutions for Other Waste
Our research team is continually developing commercially profitable ways of recycling all sorts of materials.
